Account Manager to conduct in-depth engagement with key clients to finalize customization details for locks, doorbells, and security cameras, including: exterior finishing and craftsmanship, brand logo placement, packaging and printed color box designs, Tuya App pairing and configuration, as well as OEM interface requirements for devices. Assess technical feasibility and sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
An experienced Industrial Design (ID) team will be responsible for the redesign and exterior styling of smart locks, video doorbells, and surveillance camera housings, delivering high-fidelity 3D renderings. Concurrently, the Mechanical Design (MD) team will carry out structural stacking and layout design for internal electronic components and hardware/fittings for the lock body.
Utilize high-precision CNC machining or 3D printing to fabricate the initial physical prototypes. Conduct first-article assembly of the mainboard, sensors, and fingerprint module, followed by preliminary software-side validation of fingerprint algorithm response speed, two-way audio intercom for the doorbell, and actual power consumption metrics for the surveillance camera.
Officially commence the development of injection molding dies and alloy die-casting molds for the lock and doorbell housings. Upon mold delivery, conduct pilot production (mid-scale trial runs) and comprehensively calibrate assembly fixtures and production process flows on the manufacturing line, ensuring that hardware housing seam gaps, damping performance, sealing integrity, and mechanical strength fully meet mass-production standards.
The product shall be seamlessly integrated into the Tuya IoT cloud platform for stability tuning and testing. Concurrently, prototypes will enter the rigorous reliability laboratory to undergo 200,000 cycles of heavy-duty fatigue testing on the door lock handle and bolt, high-low temperature cycling tests ranging from -20 deg C to 60 deg C, as well as a 96-hour salt spray corrosion resistance test.
Multiple professional fully automated assembly lines and SMT (surface-mount technology) production lines shall be brought online simultaneously. The entire manufacturing process will strictly adhere to factory full-inspection standards, including IQC (Incoming Quality Control), IPQC (In-Process Quality Control), and FQC (Final Quality Control). Finished products will be packaged in customized brand-printed color boxes and standard shipping cartons, with full support provided to key clients for seamless coordination of sea freight, air freight, and cross-border logistics.
